The 4-5 point SPY Move Checklist

✅ The 4–5 Point SPY Move Checklist

(Print this. Keep it on your desk. Use it every trade.)

A. Structure Check (Must Pass All 3)

  1. 5-Minute Trend Direction Identified
Uptrend → higher lows + above VWAP
Downtrend → lower highs + below VWAP
  2. Liquidity Map Marked
    PDH / PDL
    Overnight high/low
    VWAP
    Imbalances
    Gamma walls
  3. Clear 4–5 Point Destination Exists
If there is no obvious target, there is no 4–5 point move.

B. Trigger Check (Must Pass All 3)

  1. Sweep Occurs
    Liquidity taken
    Stop run
    Wick through level
  2. Reclaim Confirms Direction
Price closes back inside the level
    Momentum shifts
    Tape slows then flips
  3. Retest Holds
This is the most important part.
The retest is the entry, not the sweep.

C. Entry Check (Must Pass All 2)

  1. 1-Minute Structure Aligns With 5-Minute
    HL for longs
    LH for shorts
  2. Entry Candle Shows Commitment
    Strong body
    No long wick against direction
    Volume uptick

D. Target Check (Must Pass All 2)

  1. Target 1 = +2 Points
    Take partial
    Move stop to structure
  2. Target 2 = +4–5 Points
    Liquidity pool
    VWAP
    Trendline
    Imbalance
    Gamma wall

E. Invalidation Check (Must Pass All 2)

  1. Invalidation = Break of Retest Level
If the retest fails, the move is dead.
  2. No Trade If ATR Environment Is Too Small
SPY needs ≥ 1.5 ATR on the 1-minute to produce 4–5 point moves.

⭐ The Golden Rule

You only enter after the retest.
The sweep is not the entry.
The reclaim is not the entry.
The retest is the entry.
